yo guys long time no seee
As you already can see i came to talk about the cosplay community because it gets more and more hate. Not from the outside, like people saying that cosplay is dumb and stuff, but from the inside. That is what bothers me. A couple of years the cosplay community was like a thight community and it wasn't all bitchying ( sorry for the language) at each other. It is sad that things are changed now. Cosplayers are getting meaner towards each other and I ask you one thing...why? Why are you mean towards other people. Does it make you feel better? Yes it makes you feel better but there are other ways to make you feel better and don't help the other person to get better either. Some people say: "Oh were are only critizing the cosplayer." Telling people they are ugly or their cosplay looks like shit ( again sorry for my language) isn't critizing. It hasn't happend to me yet. Honestly i don't think i'm the best cosplayer in the world or a good cosplayer at all i just like to make a costume and put a lot of efford in it and show at animecons. I do not feel better than any other cosplayer out their. But i make this Journal entry for the people out dare who have been put down by such comments. Seriously stop. Do you want the cosplay community to be like highschool? Were we will have different cliques and stuff?
Some of you might be like: "what the hell is she talking about?"
I have seen this many times for example if you type in on youtube: just be friends cosplay PV, and then click the video from elpheal and if you scroll down to the comments u get comments like: oh the luka cosplayer she looks too old. The male cosplayer is a girl thats so wrong! and a whole bunch of other stuff. Sorry but this makes me just sick. And I kept asking myself why is the world turning so cruel? And yes i know i can't stop it but i want to give a shoutout to people who "critize" cosplayers: think before you say! I mean sure cosplay is all about looking like the person but if some one spend months working on their cosplay but they don't look as them, don't go ranting on them! What i try to say is: keep the ranting for yourself. You wont make any friends with it and you wont "help" the other person with it to become a better person. And ranting about how some one is ugly or too old or whatever is not a opinion, it is just mean. So when you're done reading this, and if you ever said something to a cosplayer ( or to a person) to put them down and make yourself feel better than them, doesn't matter what way you did it, through the internet or just directly to the person, did it make you feel better? I admit I did it once, but after all it didn't make me feel better than the other person, it make me even feel worse and I felt so sorry for that person that i did say sorry to the person and we even became friends. Now I don't to such things, because i know in the end it didn't make me feel better.
So if you ever put some one down just think, and just don't do it again.
